Here's the story . . .

The artist of this interesting picture was a truck driver named Buddy. Buddy was a long-haul truck driver from the 1970s through most of the 90s. He was a large man (around 6'4") who was extremely pleasant and easy to get along with. A little rough around the edges, but quite a good conversationalist and very social. He loved to interact with people, and he loved animals. Buddy always had a smile on his face . . . And then something changed.

Buddy started having paranormal experiences on one particular highway. For a while, the experiences only happened at night. Eventually, they started to occur in the daytime as well. Buddy rode with his dog, Roy, a beautiful German Shepherd. Often Roy would become terrified and hide in the back. That was Buddy's warning that the "black force" was coming. The "black force" was an entity that appeared in the passenger seat of Buddy's truck. It was in human form, but it was completely black from head to toe so he couldn't make out any features at all. And it would speak. Buddy never disclosed what it said. Sometimes it would appear on the road in front of him, or a side road as Buddy passed by. He would often see it in the backseat of passing cars. He was extremely frightened of it.

While home for several days, Buddy's wife noticed a personality change. He was withdrawn, nervous, and short-tempered. He drew a crude, child-like picture of it, explaining his experiences to his wife. He said it had been going on for years on that one stretch of highway. He never said where, exactly, but his wife knew it was somewhere in the West based on his route schedule.

For the next trip, he left his dog home which never happened before. Perhaps Buddy wanted to keep him safe. Maybe he knew it was his last trip. Buddy's truck was found in the early morning hours with the doors open at a truck stop on the Colorado-Wyoming border.

Within one year of his disappearance, his wife began having paranormal experiences connected to the picture he drew. She saw and spoke to her husband several times. He warned her and their son about impending danger - three times over the years. She also saw black figures several times, but she wasn't frightened by them. They were always hovering close to the picture. Several times after seeing them, good fortune would come her way. Illness recovery, lottery winnings, the arrival of a healthy grandchild, the quick sale of her house, a surprise vacation, and so on.

The picture came to us from Buddy's son. He has been a client of ours for well over a decade. His mother recently passed on, and the picture was a painful reminder. He didn't want to destroy it. He asked us to sell it and donate a portion of the proceeds to an animal charity. 

Update February 2023 ~

We sold this picture in 2019. It was returned to us on January 31, 2023. Although it produced positive results for Buddy's family, it did not have the same results for the person who owned it after them. It was bought by someone named Tracy. She bought this picture because she is a paranormal item collector, and she had years of experience with such items.

Her life was going well until this picture entered it. Instead of good fortune and protection coming to her, the opposite happened. She lost her job of 20 years, her marriage fell apart, her daughter turned on her in favor of her father, she lost her house in the divorce, she lost her cats to her ex in the divorce, she lost over $10,000 in a scam, she wrecked her car, she started receiving threatening phone calls, and she started getting debilitating migraines for the first time in her life.

All that time, this picture hung in the room where she kept her paranormal items. When she moved and unboxed it, she had an intense experience. The "black force" that frightened Buddy appeared to her. She revealed what it told her. It's a very ancient, dark spirit. And it told her it caused her misfortune and more heartache and despair would befall upon her unless she made a deal with it. She immediately thought Buddy's family must have made a deal with it. But she never would! Terrified, she refused and contacted us.

Over the last four years, almost everyone who saw the picture became sick. Instant migraines, vomiting, fainting, uncontrollable shaking, cold sweats, debilitating vertigo, breathing issues from panic attacks, and unexplainable collapsing. Not her, but others upon seeing the picture, including her daughter and ex-husband. Out of 12 people, only 2 did not react like this.

The picture was crude. Buddy was not a professional artist so the picture was child-like and rough. It was drawn and colored with children's markers and created in an attempt to explain his plight to his wife. Tracy and Buddy's son believe Buddy's energy and the entity's energy are soaked in this picture.

Update October 18, 2023 ~

The picture was sold again to a woman named Arlis. The moment she took the picture out of the envelope, she felt warmth and comfort. The picture was sent to her post office box. Immediately after leaving the post office, she stopped at a convenience store near her home that she'd never been to before and bought a lottery ticket. She won $500,000! Two days later, she got a raise and promotion at work. She's also suddenly gained the willpower to stay on a healthy eating plan, and she already lost five pounds. This is after failing to eat well for the last 30 years. She's only had the picture for 10 days of this posting. 

Although the picture seems to be a good luck charm for Arlis, her husband became violently sick the first day it was in the house and periodically became ill in its presence. Arlis decided to keep the picture in a room in the basement away from her husband.
