St. Anthony Prayer Card

St. Anthony is such a wonderful saint with a rich, incredible history. Although he's a patron of the poor, fishermen, sailors, priests, and the mail in transit, he's most known for helping people (who ask) find lost objects. How did he become known as the saint of lost items? Well, his book of Psalms, which was hand-printed, disappeared. This was before the printing press so it wasn't so easy to pick up another copy. The book was special to him since his handwritten notes were included. He prayed to find it. The person who stole it returned it with an apology. So when we lose something, we ask St. Anthony to help us recover it. A cute, well-known prayer is, "Tony, Tony, look around; something is lost and must be found."

The front of the card shows a beautiful picture of Infant Jesus held by Saint Anthony.  A Novena Prayer to Saint Anthony is printed on the reverse side.

With its rounded edges, the card can be comfortably held in your hand or slipped into your pocket. Carry it in your wallet, purse, or pocket for a quick prayer on the move, or keep it on your home altar, nightstand, or vanity mirror for a prayer of peace first thing in the morning or last thing at night.
